Walter Moulton, father of Timothy F. lives on Route 1, Rice Hill
and had a blacksmith shop across the road. The house burned along with the carriage
shed, but the blacksmith shop was turned into a garage by Timothy and is still in
existence at 2 Old Beech Ridge Road. The cellar hole of the original house is still
visible at the residence of Robert Moulton, 59 Route 1.
Walter married Eva Furbish, the daughter of Timothy and Olive Furbish.
Timothy F. Mouulton built a house for himself and one for his mother Eva and
grandmother Olive which are at 2 and 4 Old Beech Ridge Road. Olive Voudy
Furbish, daughter of William and Mercy (Bragdon) Voudy.

Timothy was a lifetime resident of York, living on
Route 1, Rice's Hill until he was married and built two houses on Beech
Ridge Road. These houses were moved up the road when the turnpike was put in.
Timothy was employed and retired from Portsmouth Navy Yard. He and Laura
had four children, Ruth, Edith, Lena and Robert.
Laura (Winslow) Moulton was born in Deerfield, NH,
moving to York at a young age. She attended and graduated from the York
Schools
